Ringu 2 was pretty good but it wasnt scary iirc. the movie is called ring.I can't recall the scary parts in The Grudge, but Sadako & The Ring leaving good impressions for me.

Verbinski did a great job improving it, but Ju-on is still on topI didn't find the original Japanese movies all that scary for either of them.
